WATWZ Secures Land in Luapula for Massive Empowerment Projects

A WATWZ delegation recently held successful courtesy meetings with Chief Chisunka and Chief Bwalya Mponda in Luapula Province, securing expansive land for stakeholder-led agricultural and infrastructure development projects.

The  acquired land will be used for farming, housing, and recreation projects, including the proposed Samfya Beachfront Recreation Park. WATWZ highlighted the project as a key milestone in its nationwide goal of allocating 2,000 hectares per chiefdom for community empowerment. Provincial coordinator Mr. Herod Mwila commended local chiefs for their collaboration and forward-thinking leadership.
